Criteria for Supporting Organizations

1. Review of the Organization’s mission, objectives, and goals, and assessment of alignment with our foundation’s focus areas

2. Conduct site visits to assess the organization, its leadership, its ability to execute on the goals, assess programs in action, review results, and meet staff and recipients of support

3. Review of audited financials and tax returns

4. Review the organization’s ability to provide reports and documentation related to work and expenses

5. High percentage of spend on Programs & low administrative expenses

6. Ensure organizations have Independent Board Members( if applicable), no material diversion of assets, records retention, reasonable staff salaries, and Chief Executive Compensation
